Merhaba! Bugün İngilizce'de en üstünlük derecesini ifade etmek için kullandığımız Superlative Adjectives konusunu öğreneceğiz. Bu yapıyı, bir grup içindeki en yüksek, en küçük, en hızlı gibi ifadeleri söylerken kullanırız. 🏆
🎯 Superlative Form Nasıl Oluşturulur?
Superlative yapıyı oluşturmanın birkaç kuralı vardır. Sıfatın hece sayısı ve son harfine göre değişiklik gösterir.
🔹 1. Tek Heceli ve Bazı İki Heceli Sıfatlar
Bu sıfatların sonuna "-est" eklenir. Cümlenin başında genellikle "the" kelimesi kullanılır.
- 📏 tall (uzun) → the tallest (en uzun)
- 🐢 slow (yavaş) → the slowest (en yavaş)
- 💰 cheap (ucuz) → the cheapest (en ucuz)
Örnek: Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. (Everest Dağı, dünyadaki en yüksek dağdır.)
🔹 2. Sessiz Harf + "y" ile Biten Sıfatlar
Sonu sessiz harf + "y" ile biten sıfatlarda, "y" düşer ve yerine "-iest" gelir.
- 😊 happy (mutlu) → the happiest (en mutlu)
- 🧠 easy (kolay) → the easiest (en kolay)
- 🦊 funny (komik) → the funniest (en komik)
🔹 3. İki Heceden Fazla Olan Sıfatlar
Bu sıfatların önüne "the most" (en) getirilir. Sıfat değişmez.
- 🎬 beautiful (güzel) → the most beautiful (en güzel)
- 💡 important (önemli) → the most important (en önemli)
- 😴 boring (sıkıcı) → the most boring (en sıkıcı)
⚠️ 4. Düzensiz (Irregular) Sıfatlar
Bazı sıfatların superlative halleri tamamen değişir. Bunları ezberlemeliyiz.
- 👍 good (iyi) → the best (en iyi)
- 👎 bad (kötü) → the worst (en kötü)
- 📏 far (uzak) → the farthest / the furthest (en uzak)
✍️ Superlative Cümle Yapısı
Superlative cümleler genellikle şu şekilde kurulur:
the + superlative sıfat + isim + in/of ...
- She is the smartest student in our class. (O, sınıfımızdaki en zeki öğrencidir.)
- This is the most exciting movie of the year. (Bu, yılın en heyecan verici filmidir.)
- Today was the hottest day in July. (Bugün Temmuz ayındaki en sıcak gündü.)
