Marie Curie, a brilliant physicist and chemist, was born on November 7, 1867, in Warsaw, Poland. In 1891, she moved to Paris to study at the Sorbonne. She married Pierre Curie in 1895. Together, they discovered polonium and radium in 1898. Marie Curie won her first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 and her second Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1911.
